Does eating a higher fat diet correlate with developing Fatty Liver Disease?

If you are a man over 40 who has come back from the doctor only to find out that you have ben diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD), then please read this whole article as I will be giving you basic strategies to reverse this deadly disease.

What is Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease?

First off as the name suggests, fatty liver disease is when your Liver’s health becomes compromised by depositing fat within itself.

This in itself can cause the Liver to work inefficiently, leading to a lot of different health complication. In advanced stages of NAFLD, it can be extremely fatal, even causing death.

The liver is an organ that detoxifies the blood of unwanted substances, and for the most part the Liver does its job well, without even being noticed.

When fat does accumulate within the Liver, this causes something called Insulin Resistance — which is the root cause of all diseases within the human body.

Insulin Resistance at the Liver levels means the hormone Insulin has the inability to regulate glucose coming in and out of the liver and because of this excess glucose gets converted to Triglycerides and gets re-absorbed into the Liver.

The liver enzymes elevate, and the Liver becomes inflamed.

At this point the Liver is very sick, and is leaching out toxins, and will not be able to properly detoxify the body of unwanted substances…

So, having said all of that — what causes your Liver to become inflamed like this and deposit fat within itself?

EXCESS CARBOHYDRATE CONSUMPTION

Carbohydrates get broken down into glucose in the body — the problem being is that when you eat a diet that is higher in Carbohydrates.

Carbohydrates get stored as Glycogen in the Liver. Glycogen is two or more glucose molecules strung together.

In a normal healthy liver, this is all fine and dandy…

But when the liver becomes overloaded with Glucose, the excess Glucose gets converted to Triglycerides and is deposited into the Liver.

EXCESS FRUIT CONSUMPTION

The sugar in fruit is very hard for the Liver to process. All fruit gets broken down into Fructose, which the Liver has to break down and convert to glucose.

If the Liver is already compromised and is resistant to the effects of Insulin, the fructose will be converted to Triglycerides and stored in the Liver.

This is a very dangerous situation, because so many men over 40 are told to eat fruit to be healthy…

But what many people do not see, is how fruit is actually compromising the health of the Liver.
